2. Complete Offline Functionality
Obsidian Ebook Reader is designed to operate entirely offline. The application reads local EPUB and PDF files directly from your device's storage. Your books, your reading progress, your highlights, and your settings never leave your device.
3. Analytics and Telemetry
We do not include any tracking software, telemetry, crash reporters, or analytics integrated into the Obsidian Ebook Reader application. We do not know what books you read or how you use the app.
4. Microsoft Store Data
If you download the app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect standard download statistics and crash reports according to the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We only have access to aggregated, anonymized data provided by the Microsoft Partner Center (such as the total number of downloads).
5. Changes to this Policy
If we ever decide to change this policy, we will update this document and clearly outline the changes. Any future data collection features would always be strictly opt-in.
