Does the app work completely offline?
Yes! Once downloaded from the Microsoft Store, the app functions 100% offline. You do not need an internet connection to open or read your books.
What file formats are supported?
Currently, Obsidian Ebook Reader supports EPUB and PDF formats. We focus on providing the best possible experience for these two most common document types.
Can I purchase books directly in the app?
No. Obsidian Ebook Reader is strictly a document viewer. You will need to acquire DRM-free EPUBs or PDFs from external sources and open them locally on your device.
How do I change the font size or colors?
While reading a book, click the "Styling" button to access the formatting menu. From there, you can adjust font, font size, margins, word spacing, and line spacing.
Will my reading progress sync across devices?
Because the app operates entirely offline to protect your privacy, reading progress currently only saves locally on the specific device you are using.
